Celebrating the 10-year anniversary of our renown production, Clocktower Players is proud to present RAGTIME The Musical REUNION CONCERT. Set in the turn of the century New York, Ragtime is the award-winning musical that intertwines three distinctive stories - an African American pianist, a Jewish immigrant, and a stifled upper-class wife - each united by courage, compassion and the desire for a better future. Mixing in real life historical figures, the story highlights the fight for justice, racial equality, the persistence of dreams, and the endless power of the heart.

Jason was 21 when he won an Emmy Award for his work on the children’s show, Captain Cauliflower. Twenty years later, he sees this accomplishment as the highlight of his career, but it’s been downhill ever since. When a handsome stranger offers to purchase his award, Jason is uncertain. Does he keep an object that represents his success, or sell it and uses the money for a once in a lifetime trip? Depressed, confused, and hesitant, he receives guidance from the one person he least expects. His decision will have an impact on this memory of his past, his thoughts of his present, and his vision of his future.

Developed and implemented “One World, Our Journey" in-school residency program for 5th Grade classrooms (2 classes, 20 Sessions) at P.S. 527. Directed, wrote, and choreographed an original script for a final performance using pre-existing musical theatre material, based on interviews conducted by 50 students. Choreographed numbers included: "There's Gotta Be Something Better Than This" (Sweet Charity), "Bright Star" (Bright Star), "Ease on Down the Road" & "Brand New Day" (The Wiz), & "We Tell the Story" (Once on This Island).
