Mixing in real life historical figures, the story highlights the fight for justice, racial equality, the persistence of dreams, and the endless power of the heart.

Depressed, confused, and hesitant, he receives guidance from the one person he least expects. His decision will have an impact on this memory of his past, his thoughts of his present, and his vision of his future.

Developed and implemented “One World, Our Journey" in-school residency program for 5th Grade classrooms (2 classes, 20 Sessions) at P.S. 527. Directed, wrote, and choreographed an original script for a final performance using pre-existing musical theatre material, based on interviews conducted by 50 students. Choreographed numbers included: "There's Gotta Be Something Better Than This" (Sweet Charity), "Bright Star" (Bright Star), "Ease on Down the Road" & "Brand New Day" (The Wiz), & "We Tell the Story" (Once on This Island).

Completed Lifetime Arts' Teaching Mentee Program, Assistant taught an older adult library program called, "Creative Aging: Treasured Memories."
